2. How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate transcription (processing via AssemblyAI; storage via AWS S3; account/session via Firebase).
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, debug, and improve reliability and quality.
  • Provide customer support and communicate about service updates or policy changes.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Data Security

At rest: Server-side encryption (e.g., AES-256) in AWS S3; Firebase protected by Google Cloud security controls.

Role-based access and logging; no human review of your content without your explicit consent (unless required by law).

No system is 100% secure; we continually improve safeguards.

4. Third-Party Processors

We use reputable providers under data-processing terms and security standards:

AssemblyAI – processes audio to text.

Amazon Web Services (AWS S3) – secure file storage.

Google Firebase (Realtime Database/Auth) – user accounts, sessions, app data.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with these processors and where required by law.

5. Retention & Deletion

We retain audio files and transcripts only as long as needed to deliver the service and for a limited period thereafter to ensure reliability and support.

You can request deletion of files, transcripts, and/or your account at any time.

We may implement automatic deletion (e.g., after a set number of days); details will be reflected in your account settings or help pages when available.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise rights or ask questions, contact info@34apps.com.
